Chiropractic

Chiropractic is a healthcare profession that specialises in the diagnosis, treatment and overall management of conditions that are due to problems with the joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves, especially related to the spine. Chiropractic treatment involves gentle, specific manual manipulation to restore joint function and mobility. Chiropractors also use a variety of techniques including soft tissue therapies, stretching and exercise prescription and advice on posture and lifestyle to aid and sustain a full recovery.

Loss of joint movement may be caused by direct injury, repetitive strains from factors involved in your everyday lifestyle, or just simple wear and tear over the years. People of all ages and from all walks of life may benefit from Chiropractic care. People with a range of musculoskeletal problems (ie: with the joints, bones and muscles), particularly back and neck pain, regularly consult chiropractors. Although chiropractors are best known for treating back and neck pain, patients also consult chiropractors regarding a range of other health related conditions.

At Jannali Healthcare Centre we use a variety of chiropractic techniques within our treatment sessions to serve our clients with the best outcomes possible. Some patients may have a particular technique they prefer, or alternatively one they don’t like, other times one particular style of technique may be indicated due to a particular condition, and so we adapt our techniques on an individual basis.

Some of the techniques we use include:
Diversified / Manual Manipulation
Sacro-Occipital Technique
Thompson Drop Technique
Activator Technique
Webster Technique
Myofascial Release Technique
Trigger Point Therapy
Musculoskeletal Dry Needling
Prescriptive Rehabilitation
